Park Overview

This is truly Fisherman's Paradise. Hewitt and Holcomb Parks feature excellent access to warm water fishery experiences on the banks of the Powder River arm of the Snakes River's Brownlee Reservoir. Bass, perch, crappie, channel cats, flatheads, and other fish could be your catch of the day. Brownlee Reservoir offers fishing, water recreation, boating, wildlife viewing, and sightseeing.

Hewitt and Holcomb Parks feature wide, paved boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, plenty of boat trailer parking, and clean restrooms. There are day use picnic areas for you to enjoy all year. The RV and tent campsites make excellent base camps as you explore the northeast corner of Baker County. Wildlife sightings are abundant - you may see deer, elk, bear, and a multitude of upland and waterfowl.
